There's loads to do at Docker Park Farm!
Docker Park Farm is set in stunning countryside with magnificient views out over the Lune Valley to the Howgills in one direction and the Yorkshire Dales in the other.
Once through our entrance, you are in the large farm yard, which is full of ride on toys ranging from adult size go karts (and yes, loads of the parents zoom about on them!), kid's go karts, tractors and trailers for all ages, scuttlebugs and lots of other things. Most children keep coming back and back to this area throughout the day!
We have a large indoor playbarn, which houses an under 5 soft play area in one side and a two storey soft play with a fab curly slide in the other side.
In addition to that, we have a playground out and about in the 13 acres of the farm with loads of different swings and a climbing wall too!
You can visit all the usual farm animals here at Docker; sheep, calves, goats, geese, ducks, hens and lots of pigs and piglets - all of whom are very friendly and love to be petted. Seamus and Tilly are our resident donkeys who are always pleased to see you and they give donkey rides three times a day. There are alpacas at Docker Park too!
The rabbits and guinea pigs live a life of luxury and freedom under cover in one of our buildings and hands on petting goes on throughout the day.
We are very proud of our owls! After lots of work on our aviary, guided by the World Owl Trust, they have entrusted us with seven pairs of owls from around the world to look after and love and they are worth a visit in their own right!
In the summer months all our animals are out and about in paddocks around a six acre field with a lovely wide grassed secure walkway - brilliant for kids to run about and enjoy.
In the winter months, the animals come up into barns so visitors can continue to visit and enjoy them, whatever the weather.
To add to the visit, we have two lovely lakes which you can wander round at your leisure, spotting the wildlife or just soak up the stunning views that this beautiful place allows.
We have picnic tables in a stunning location on the farm with far reaching spectacular views and our cafe serves simply fresh food.
